and did the math at the time of a tankless vs. new 75 gal gas powered tanked. Bottom line was tankless made no economic sense as you never go cash positive on them over the useful life and then throw in the drawbacks (heating delay and annual maintenance) and you just bought a PITA and not a home improvement. Get a 75 gal tanked version with modern features and you will come out way ahead at a cheaper cost and you can do the install yourself quite easily.
